As the Sino-Mongolian relation advances for the past two decades, the number of people learning Chinese language has been increasing year after year and as a result the Mongolian government has placed more emphasis on the importance of teaching Chinese as a second language. Nevertheless, the current classroom teaching method requires improvement on nurturing the writing skills in addition to reading and listening proficiency. This abstract investigates process writing methodology introduction into the intermediate level of Chinese language classrooms. A new curriculum has been devised according to the methodology and later has been implemented in the classrooms from Mongolian universities. The first chapter looks at the background of the thesis title, its’ significance, and prior research literature. The second chapter discovers theories related to process writing method. The third chapter analyzes the current situation of pedagogical methods of intermediate writing classrooms. The fourth chapter of this abstract introduces the classroom practice and a follow up evaluation of this teaching practice. |
