Emotional intelligence is a series of emotion, personality and interpersonal competence which influences people how to cope with environmental needs and pressures. At the same time the emotional intelligence is considered to be an important factors in people’s live and work whether successful or not. It also impacts on people’s mental health directly. This article discussed and studied employees’ emotional intelligence structure and measurement system on the basis of the western theory by content analysis, open questionnaire, scale and a series of research methods.the results showed that:Emotional intelligence has five dimensions which is the individual ingredients, interpersonal relationship, adaptability, stress management components and general mood.(2) The emotional intelligence scale edited by self has a good reliability and validity.(3) From on the whole, employee’s emotional intelligence is overall the level in the median. Enterprise employee emotional intelligence and each dimension in the age and post variables, there were significant differences. The emotional intelligence of employees in gender, level of education, working years is no difference, but the part dimensions in this three aspect were significant differences.(4) Employees’emotional intelligence is significantly related to interpersonal relationship and job satisfaction.(5) Employees’emotional intelligence has a prediction on the level of interpersonal relationship, which composed of individual internal components, interpersonal relationship, adaptability, stress management components, the general mood. It also has a prediction on job satisfaction.(6) There are two significant ways to influence the emotional intelligence. one is the emotional intelligence effects the job satisfaction directly, the other is emotional intelligence influence job satisfaction by interpersonal relationship indirectly.
