Modern packaging design is one of the dominant culture, living based on modern design-oriented art and design disciplines. In modern design, either in theory or in practice, should be modern packaging design as a form of culture to look at. At the same time, design and culture have to firmly grasp the attention and the pursuit of the visual effects of modern society. Ethos of traditional Chinese culture in the formation of modern packaging design, development and evolution, not only mapped out the people in the past, the unique emotional forms of expression and the specific visual experience of inner life, and emotional needs of contemporary people’s lives, the same as a visual portrayal. It is a unique ethos, still show an amazing vitality in the history of polish and washing. This vitality comes from traditional Chinese culture contains deep cultural spirit, and this is only the Chinese nation has a philosophy of aesthetics and aesthetic awareness. Thus making the qualities inherent in the spirit of traditional Chinese culture in the modern packaging design more reasonable, but also to adapt the spiritual needs of contemporary people, material requirements, aesthetic qualities and value orientation. But when in the use of in-depth understanding understand the spirit of traditional culture, and on this basis, and gradually get to the bottom, change, innovation, combined with modern packaging design.So far today the development of modern design, has entered a pluralistic era of design, the more talented designers have begun to re-examine the traditional cultural ethos of all ethnic groups in order to guide the humanity of life in the public mind the survival of the accumulation of emotional psychological and scattering out of the glory,public life and aesthetic trends. The traditional cultural heritage and beyond is the only way to explore the modern packaging and developing their own design.
