Study On Application Of The Keep Blank In Modern Packaging Design

“Keep blank " is an artistic form of expression of traditional Chinese painting andcalligraphy and a unique visual language. It’s the spiritual connotation of the Chinesetraditional culture and art and also the essence of Chinese traditional arts. By using keep blankcleverly in modern packaging design, we can both carry on traditional art and makeinnovations of it. The paper studies the application of keep blank in the modern packagingdesign, aiming to mix together keep blank, a form of artistic expression of traditional Chinesepainting and calligraphy, with modern packaging design, and cleverly use it in modernpackaging design, and try to do systematic research on reasonable and effective application ofkeep blank to modern packaging design from both visually and psychologically. First of all,through the concept of keep blank, its relations and embodiment with traditional Chineseculture, and the visual psychological research of keep blank, we want to prove that keep blankhas long historical and cultural origins, and is a popular demand of visual psychology.Secondly, we’ll describe modern packaging design concept and its status, analyze the specificintegration of keep blank and modern packaging design concept, and further indicate thatkeep blank has a certain necessity and rationality in the modern packaging design. Lastly, byexploring further in the performance of design elements and its design of keep blank, andusing the method of case analysis, this paper has analyzed and summarized the application ofkeep blank in packaging design of different categories, it summed up the applicationprinciples in modern packaging design. This will help to expand the thinking of modernpackaging design, enhance the cultural connotations of the modern packaging design, andhighlight the ethnic characteristics of the modern packaging design.
