The Yuan dynasty to achieve an unprecedented national unity. In the territory ofthe vast Empire, living with Han people, Mongolia people, Hui people and manyother nationalities. As the conqueror of Mongolian nationality,they attaches greatimportance to the national language culture. For considerations of the needs ofpolitical domination and Mongolian cultural expansion,during the rule of KublaiKhan’s life,the government created basiba Mongolian characters and establishMongolian Character (school).This paper mainly analyzes the cultural values of the Yuan Dynasty MongolianCharacter (school) and the school system of the teachers and the students,especially toanalysis the Han nationality intellectual in the process of their work and elaboratedthe inspiration for today’s China’s minority language education issues. The article isdivided into five parts:The first part is introduction the situation of the Mongolian Character (school).Mainly including the evolution of the Mongolian language course and the political,cultural background of the new words created, and the development of the MongolianCharacter (school).The second part is introduction of the students in Mongolian Character (school)and analysis of ambivalence on the Han students learning new words in MongolianCharacter (school).The third part is analysis of many different ethnic groups which in theMongolian Character (school), especially the Han nationality intellectual to learn theMongolian Character.The fourth part is analysis the impact of Mongolian Character (school), includinganalysis the failure of Mongolian Character and the impact of Mongolian Character(school),and compared with the same period, Western Xia and Jin Dynasty languageeducation.The fifth part that is conclusion, the revelation that China’s minority languageeducation.
