In the past30years, the psychological theory has become a hot field ofdevelopmental psychology research, and emotion understanding is a very importanttopic in the field. The development of the mixed emotion is a higher level ofemotional development level. The development of children’s mixed emotion hasimportant meaning for children facing daily life emotional conflict to make asatisfactory solution. Meanwhile it can make children gradually consciousness andunderstand the two sides of things and other people’s emotional state. Domesticresearch of mixed emotion has certain limitation that the age-group of selectedsubjects was relatively short. The researches of mixed emotion understanding rarelyhave the systematicness. The purpose of this study is tries to analyze systematicallyage characteristic, gender characteristics, overall development trends and theinfluencing factors of the mixed emotion for the children.This study proposed according to the relevant Gordis mixed emotion of theresearch situation story and combining with the Chinese national condition toadaptation, and the adaptation of the scene story is forecasted, and prove its validity.Combining with individual interview in the form of experiment research. the researchobject selected is changing ShuangYang7-the primary school at the age of12students,in view of the development of mixed emotion age and gender differences, overalldevelopment characteristics of the system. The results are as follows:1.children’s understanding of mixed emotion development is the trend of thedevelopment of general: namely the growth as the age mixed emotion understandingability gradually strengthened.7,8years old children can accept the existence ofmixed emotion,9,10years is mixed emotion children understand critical period ofdevelopment,11,12years old mixed emotion understanding basic stability. Children’smixed emotion understanding have no significant gender differences.2.children’s understanding of the mixed emotion has a Period of rapid of9yearsold in simple task reasons. Nine years old in the children have reasons task aqualitative leap.3.children’s understanding of the mixed emotion, exploring the reasons tasks,great development is in ten years old.4.children’s understanding of the mixed emotion, his experience in the telling ofthe task, Period of rapid growth of is10years old, to12years old, mixed emotionbasically stable development.
