The Research Of Verb-complement In Fobenxingjijing

Verb-complement in Chinese grammar structure is a very important structure, which has a very important position in Chinese grammar system, it has a deep impact on Chinese word formation change, syntactic change and predicate structure change. The scholars have always paid more attention on its research. Sui Dynasty was in the transition period from Middle Chinese to Modern Chinese, literature in Sui Dynasty has the language feature of transition period.Fobenxingjijing is a Buddhist sutras which was translated by Indian Monks Shenajueduo during KaiHuang age in Sui Dynasty. It mainly recorded the story of Sakyamuni became a monk and practiced the Dharma, as well as the story of his disciple. In this thesis, the author not only counts all the verb-complement in Fobenxingjijing, but also classifies and describes every structure, tries discussing their characteristic. In this thesis, the author divides the verb-complement into four parts:resultive complement, directional complement, "De structure" and phase complement, and also discusses them.The thesis is divided into six parts, including introduction,conclusion and four chapters. The introduction has five sections, the author separately presents origins of electing titles and significance, the present research situation of verb-complement, and the present research situation, research content, research method, organization, referent symbol.In the chapter one, The resultive complement is discussed, The author chooses the use cases and different structures in Fobenxingjijing, analyzes and introduces them, summarizes the developing characteristics, grammar characteristic and semantic orientation of verb-complement.In the chapter two, The directional complement is discussed, The author analyzes the common directional verb "Lai","Qu","Shang","Xia" and their situation as complement, summarizes their characteristic.In the chapter three, "De "structure is discussed, The author analyzes the situation of "De" as complement, and simply introduced "De" as potential complement.In the chapter four, The phase complement is discussed, The author analyzes the common directional verb "Qi","Le","Yi","Bi" which showed the meaning of accomplish and their situation as complement.In the last chapter, The author summarizes and sums up the examples of the full text, draws a conclusion.In addition, there are three attached lists at the end of the thesis, they are statistics of resultative complement and directional complement.
