Study On Wu Xiao And Zeng Yao Bian

WuXiao was the famous poetess in late Ming and early Qing dynasty, she was so talent and her poetry style is unique. Besides Poems of Xiao Xue An, Zeng Yao Bian is also her work, which is a collection of letters written to her lover TaoShiJi, a total of92letters. A further discussion on her extramarital through her poems and Zeng Yao Bian is made in my paper, by investigating her talent, personality, family, marriage and the situation of the country perishes, feudal legal collapsed,"emotionalism" and life awareness was penetrated into boudoir of rich families in late Ming and early Qing dynasty. We consider that Wu Xiao boldly persuited her love and was contempt of all ethical rites, though she was from a noble family. Her letters fully reflected that feminine personalities and life were freed in late Ming and early Qing dynasty. Progressive significance has been made in her inner self-seeking and genuis-seeking.
