After reformation and opening more than30years, as Anhui economy grows, Anhui is becoming a high Extroverted degree, with high and new technology industry as the leading, all kinds of talents gathered and good economic performance technology innovation base in the new century, which need for higher vocational skilled talents, the contradiction between supply and demand is now increasingly, higher vocational technology education also corresponding got rapid progress, but the professional English teaching copy or follow common higher education or vocational schools teaching model in Anhui province, which did not full consideration of higher vocational talents job market English ability and quality requirements. On the one hand teaching is not let students for the purpose of application, on the other hand make professional English course in higher vocational curriculum system by the plight of the cuts.This paper took three vocational colleges guide professional English teaching in Anhui province as an example, by using the quantitative and qualitative research methods, the research through survey, talking, querying data and analyzing statistic and so on. Through to the three vocational colleges’professional English teaching guide of investigation in Anhui Province, analyzing the reality of the situation of the current higher vocational college in professional English teaching guide in Anhui province, the author expounds professional English teaching in vocational colleges of some of the broad questions at the present:first is constrained exam-oriented education, ability and quality teaching not enough attention, secondly is due to fund deficiency, the third is using course teaching material is behind, lag reality development demand; The fourth is professional teachers’quality to be further improved; The fifth is not practical teaching base for student’s practice; The sixth is evaluation mechanism of a single, lack of rationality and fairness.
