Research On Urban Geography To Shangjing Longquanfu Of Bohai Kingdom

Shangjing Longquanfu, is one of the five-capital of Tang Dynasty Bohai State.During229years (698AD~926AD) of the Bohai State history, ShangjingLongquanfu had been established as capital twice as long as160years, occupies avery important position in the history of the Bohai State. Shangjing Longquanfu is afusion of the Tang culture of the Central Plains and Northeast ancient national culture,and a concentrated expression of the prosperity and development of the Bohai State’seconomic and cultural.The urban geography of Shangjing Longquanfu is object of study in this article,by discourse the Shangjing rise and development of historical and geographical basis,we expect for having a more in-depth understanding to its capital site selection, urbanform and capital organizational system. Meanwhile, this also helps the study of Bohainational history multi-level, multi-angle, and it is an important part of northeastfrontier development history research.The paper is divided into five parts:First, An introduction on the the Bohai regime as well as the creation offive-capital system. Mainly discusses the the Bohai five-capital system origin, impactand five-capital urban structure level.Second, on the history and geography of Shangjing Longquanfu site selection ofbasic research. This will mainly be demonstrated by two points: geographicalenvironment of the Shangjing Longquanfu and the historical background of DaqinMao’s moving the capital to Shangjing.Third, the process of construction and layout of the urban form of ShangjingLongquanfu, To Shangjing’s urban form spatial layout from the triple city layout,streets Alleys layout, urban flood control facilities layout of the three to do a discourse;on the capital construction process, this paper introduces “the stage to create adoctrine”, and have an objectively evaluate to this doctrine.Fourth, the establishment origins on the cities of Shangjing Longquanfu. Mainlyanalysed three elements of Zhongyuan capital of the Tang Dynasty, the Bohai Statesurrounding ethnic region, the Bohai State own national culture affected cities in theestablishment of the Shangjing Longquanfu.Fifth, research on the historical status and influence of the Shangjing Longquanfu. Mainly discusses the contribution of Shangjing Longquanfu on the citiesdevelopment of the ancient Northeast, economic development, the changment ofnational outlook.In short, this article will be the city’s historical geography of the relevant theoryas a guide, combined with the analysis of historical documents and archaeologicaldata, and on the basis of Bohai capital research in the past of the academiccommunity, having an in-depth study in city’s historical geography of ShangjingLongquanfu.
