Ethical Issues In The New Generation Of Migrant Workers Living Conditions

The new generation migrant workers is the existence of a special group in our economicsystem transformation and social transformation period, this group played an important role inthe process of social development, however, due to the economic system, social developmentof the obstacles, it urbanization many of the injustices suffered in the process, has led to anumber of the social and ethical issues. The new generation migrant workers from thedominant traditional family and family awareness, but difficult to integrate into the modernethical culture, and their desire to integrate into the city has been the exclusion of the city,leading to its fall into the social and material life and ideologies double ‘marginalized’ theplight of these issues not only kill the enthusiasm of the new generation migrant workers forthe society, and seriously endanger social stability and harmony. Secondly, on the basis of the living condition of new generationmigrant worker, the thesis will discuss about the background of the appearance of ethicsproblems of the workers, from the aspects of diversification of values, the period of socialtransformation backed up by new and old contradiction, the change of new and oldenvironment, etc. The thesis will analyze the performance of society and its ethics problemsfrom professional ethics, marriage choice, family sense of responsibility and moral right. Itwill be finally concluded that ethics problems of new general migrant worker’s living status is caused by the reasons below: gap between the wealthy and poor is increasing, efficiency oftraditional moral norm is poorer, there is lack of modern ethics system, system of safeguardlegal rights is unperfected, etc. Thirdly, the thesis will have countermeasure from the aspectsof the new generation migrant worker themselves, government, society, community andvillage committee. The ethics of whole society will be improved via self-discipline andheteronomy, then, good ethics and living environment will be created, in this case, themigrant worker will get equal position, right, respect and reorganization. Finally, the ethicsproblem in migrant worker’s living condition will be solved accordingly.
