The part of speech of Chinese word “jiu” is complex, and there are many sensesin every part of speech. The most widely used and more complex is the time adverbs“jiu”. In Chinese teaching as a second language, the time adverbs”jiu” is earlier comeinto contact with, but there is a generally problem when the students use it.Althoughthere are a lot of research achievements for “jiu”,but the achievements wich combinesto teaching Chinese as a foreign language is not a lot,especially the relevant sentencewhich is composed of the time adverbs “jiu”,and the error anaysis is not verydetailed.Also, the achievements which widely used in teaching Chinese as a foreighlanguage are not quite a lot.Based on the above reasons, in order to make students better to grasp the usageof time adverbs “jiu”,by description of time adverbs “jiu”and its components sentencein syntactic, semantic and pragmatic,etc. Based on the HSK Dynamatic CompositionCorpus, summarizes the types of errors, deeply analysis the causes of these errors.putforword the corresponding teaching principles and give an teaching design (take“yi…jiu…” as an example).The thesis is divided into four chapters in all:Chapters1Introduction. It explains the purpose and the importance of selectingthe study object. Also, it summarizes the former research achievements of the timeadverbs “jiu”,which is mainly including two parts.On the one hand, it reviews theontology research of the time adverbs “jiu”. On the other hand, it reviews the errorsand teaching research of the time adverbs “jiu”.In addition, it also introduces thecontent of study, theoretical foundation,etc.Chapters2the multi-angle analysis of the time adverbs “jiu” in syntactic,semantic and pragmatic.Chapters3According to the HSK Dynamatic Composition Corpus, it counts theerrors of the time adverbs “jiu”, summarizes the types of errors, and sums up thecauses of these errors.Chapters4According to the causes of errors, put forword the correspondingteaching principles of the time adverbs “jiu”,and take “yi…jiu…” as an example,which is commonly used, give an teaching design.
