With the development of economic globalization, the economy and trade has got rapid expansion from country to country. The international trade and economy ties between South Korea and China have been more and more prosperous, and a great number of South Korean students come to China to learn Chinese culture and Chinese language. Chinese language, without diversified variations in expression, however, is different from Korean language. Chinese language is usually used to express the meaning with the help of various functional words and diver word order, which makes the adverbs so significant in Chinese language. It is also difficult for all the students from different countries to learn adverbs because of the complexity and diversification of usage and meanings of them. The adverbs “Cai” and ”Jiu” has been the hot spots of Chinese language grammar study of Teaching of Chinese to foreign students, and the students from South Korea often make mistakes and errors during learning and utilization of these adverbs. This paper aims to do some research on the mistakes that made by the students from South Korea when learning, and try to analyze the causes and reasons of the errors. Finally, some suggestions and recommendations are put forward to advance the Teaching of Chinese to foreign students and help the students from South Korea make it better to learn Chinese language.The first chapter introduce the background and the research significance of the study. Some summaries of the current situation of research on the adverb “Cai” and ”Jiu” are included in this chapter, as well as the study about Teaching of Chinese to foreign students. The second chapter generalizes the meanings and usage of the two adverbs “Cai” and “Jiu” with the help of the explanations on dictionaries and extracurricular reference. The third chapter conducts a study and analyzes the learning conditions on “Cai” and ”Jiu” of the students from South Korea through the methods of questionnaire and investigation. The next chapter analyzes and concludes the errors of these two adverbs revealed among the students from South Korea. The fifth chapter discussed the reasons and causes of the errors and put forwards some suggestions and advices in the perspectives of teaching and teaching.
