The situation teaching model is one of the Chinese teaching methods. It has beenwidely accepted and used in other language teachings, especially the English teaching.However, the study of situation teaching model on Chinese teaching is not notified.Therefore, we have few theoretical supports. And in most Chinese colleges, the one on oneclass is not the main aspect so that it has not gained enough attention. But nowadays, moreand more foreigners came to China for business or travelling. They also need to learnChinese, which gives us a big opportunity to develop one on one Chinese teaching.The situation teaching model requires teachers to combine the pictures, cards, videos,entities and many other properties when one is teaching Chinese so as the students couldunderstand the content easily. The situation teaching model has an influential significanceon Chinese teaching, especially the one on one Chinese teaching for its variety and flexible.In the class of one on one Chinese teaching, the situation teaching model can be appliedin the vocabulary teaching, the sentence teaching, the grammar teaching, even the dialogueand the passage teaching. In this paper, we focus on the one on one teaching and itsfeatures, the applying of situation teaching model on the one on one Chinese classes,including the definition, the classification, the theory, the significance, and how to applythe situation teaching model to the one on one class. And we will use one example ofChinese teaching to illustrate the importance of situation teaching model. At the sametime, the difficulties in this procedure will be discussed. So that the blank of this studyfield would be filled and the Chinese class would be more effective and more interesting.
