Because learning motivation is the origin of learning activities, so "motivation"has always been a hot topic of education. International communication, increasingfrequently, leads to various booms of different language learning. Chineseinternational education is still young, its theoretical research has yet to be full.Therefore, this paper in view of Central Asian students who come to China forChinese learning as one subject, basing on the social perspective, using psychology,social psychology and other related theories researches Chinese learning motivationof those Central Asian students.Firstly, this paper compiled the questionnaire to survey Chinese learningmotivation of the students in central Asia. Secondly, combining with thequestionnaire, it analyzed Chinese language learning motivation of central Asianinternational students, it was proved that self-efficacy and achievement motivation arethe inner drive of central Asian international students; Chinese learning motivation ofthem will be affected by their family, peer, school, the media, and the influence of theexternal environment, such as learning cost. Then, this paper analyzed the reasons ofthose students who chose Xinjiang as their destination of learning Chinese by SWOT.Finally, the paper put forward measures and Suggestions on how to stimulate andmaintain students’ Chinese learning motivation. |
