Based on English-speaking students for reference, concordance and questionnaire are two ways to collect the corpus. Identify the errors of theirs, and classified as the different errors, looking for the reasons why the errors caused by the English-speaking students. Finally, propose some solutions which can ultimately serve the field of teaching Chinese as a foreign language. The thesis is divided into five chapters:The first chapter:the introduction, this chapter mainly describes the research background. Analyze the works and researches in Error Analysis of turning compound sentences in TCFL are not that much, and works in connection with the English-speaking students are scarcely not. So this paper is mainly based on English-speaking students, investigate the errors they made in turning compound sentences in TCFL. Furthermore, list the different error typesThe second chapter:Analyze the different error types caused by the English-speaking students. To summarize the different error types:Wrong sequence, misuse, omissions, incorrectly added. Calculate the percentage of different types; make the result of output much clearer.The third chapter:Analyzes different reasons why the English-speaking students made such different kind of errors.The causes of these errors are various. Including:Negative transfer of knowledge of the student’s native language, excessive generalization of the knowledge of the target language, students learning process of their own strategies, some misleading of the teachers teaching strategies and materials. As we mainly study the English-speaking students, we think that the negative transfer of the native language knowledge is a big source.The forth chapter:Teaching countermeasures and suggestions. The previous chapters focuses on the different types of the errors, and summed up the relevant sources of the errors. So, how to help students reduce these errors is very essential. This chapter is mainly on teaching strategies and suggestions, and make the body of research of Chinese Grammar eventually serve the teaching practice.The fifth chapter:Conclusion and looking to the future research.
