After market-oriented reform, in China study of transformation sociology, if the f ree capitalism is considered as the historical proposition on the dialectical logic of hist orical evolution, socialism is its inverse proposition, and market economy with Chines e characteristics is the synthesis. In the observation of market economy with Chinese characteristics, it was found that the reality of the Chinese economy and the social str ucture is extremely complex.If we transform to another perspective, and study the val ue culture which adapts with market economy with Chinese characteristics on the who le related to system of social transformation in China, we will also find it is also a kin d of complicated situation. The occurrence and exploration process of value culture w hich adapts with the socialist market economy embody the complexity.China’s market economy occurs under the premise of experiencing long-term social basis of planned economy and ideological and cultural conditions. Meanwhile, it also occurs on the basis of maintaining the continuity of the traditional political system and corresponding ideology. Facing the market economy embedded in the traditional political, economic and ideological cultural system and social mechanism and ideology rose and developed gradually, how to adapt to the new realistic basis of market economy for traditional ideological system, or that of market economy with Chinese characteristics should be compatible with what kind of value culture, actually has become an important problem that systematic changes of the whole Chinese society must face and is unable to avoid for over30years.It briefly reviews the process of seeking the value culture which adapts with the policy to develop the market economy since the market economy of socialism with Chinese characteristics came into being. It tries to discuss a kind of value culture which adapts with the market mechanism, based on the internal mechanism of the market economy and the effect of social life. As we know, the market economy is in the context of contracting parties are equal. It encourages people to improve the techniques, increase the efficiency and chase after the wealth. What shall we do to make the chase of wealth and the sustainable development of the techniques? Making an appropriate and targeted choose to regard as the soil which is good for the social mechanism to positive operation is very important.At first, symbolic ideology, public policy and espoused value cultural in different stage of development after market-oriented reform are roughly described in this article. It also generally describes the expression of the ideology and the harmful social morality which can make the effect on socialism market economy. How shall we treat the situation of the social morality, and what shall we do in order to lead people to choose the value culture? It describes and reflects the development progress of the literature theory which played a very important part in ideological emancipation, and discusses the new opportunity to the development of social science and the internal logic to the innovation of the ideology. It also emphasizes the big effect of the new deal by Chairman Xi and Premier Li after the18th CPC National Congress. It indicates that since the reform and open policy the discussion of the value culture which adapts with the socialist market economy has reached a mass-based consensus.Thus it compares the differences between the process of seeking the value culture which adapts with the market economy of socialism with Chinese characteristics and the process of seeking the value culture which adapts with the market economy by original nature in the western world. Although, the Protestant ethics which spreads from top to bottom are quite different from regarding the officials as teachers which spreads from bottom to top in the way of traditional culture. They can both produce the social internal equilibrium mechanism to adapt with the market economy.
