| This paper conceives malversation is the result of the officials’ corruption mentality. Current, the construction of the anti-corruption systems require us utilizing new angle of view to solve the fundamental issue, that is, to further pay attention to the officials’mentality, and to further improve the construction of the corruption prevention systems. We think, to prevent corruption behaviors, one of the most effective way is to help the official cultivate a sound mentality.This paper bases on the analysis of the mechanism of the corruption mentality, then expatiates on the typical representation forms and the causes of this mentality. We choose around 300 officials from one area in Chengdu as the survey samples, using field data to investigate their corruption mentality, we also consider about the deficiencies of the discipline inspection department’s anti-corruption work, and based on these investigations, we propose a series of corruption prevention methods from the angle of mentality control, mentality identification, mentality restrain, mentality defence and comprehensive prevention systems. |
