With the development of world economy, the development of steelmetallurgical industry is very rapid, it also requirements associated equipmenthigher, faster, more precise. Double side trimming shear is an advancedmedium thick steel plate shear equipment, Because of its unique advantages inshear efficiency and cut quality, it is an urgent need to in-depth study andoptimization.The object of study in this article is a steel company online3300mmdouble side trimming shear. The shearing mechanism of original mechanicaldrive three shaft and three eccentricity is simplified as a plane linkagemechanism that the most comprehensive in-depth study in actual production, itis based on the basic principles of institutional. Combined with the basicprinciples of rigid body dynamics, the kinetic equations of double sidetrimming shear are establish. Then the dynamical equations are solved inMatlab/Simulink module, and the shearing mechanism is simulated inADAMS which is classical dynamics analysis software. Finally, the simulatedvalues as a reference value for theoretical.The specific content of this paper is as follows:(1) Simplified double side trimming shear model: The shearingmechanism of double side trimming shear is simplified as a classic cranklinkage mechanism, which is based on the basic principles of institutional, andthe feasibility of the simplified agencies is analysis.(2) Derived the dynamics theoretical formula of double side trimmingshear: The force of the every components is analysis, the stress analysis figsare draw and the dynamical equations are establish which based on the basicprinciples of rigid body dynamics.(3) Solved the kinetic theory formula of double side trimming shear:Because there are a lot of unknown parameters in the kinetic equation andthere is still some kind of inherent regularity contact between every parameter, if the equations are solved in the usual method, there is too work to do. So inthis paper, the equations are solved in Matlab/Simulink module.(4) Modeling and dynamic simulation of double side trimming shear: Thesimulation model of double side trimming shear is establish in ADAMS, andthe value of physical characteristics parameters of every component is put in.Then the horizontal force and the vertical force of every revolute is solved andthe result is compared with theoretical data to test the correctness of thetheoretical formula. At last, simulating shear different thickness steel, the forceof the main shear components is got.
