Engineering Supervision Enterprise Project Management Maturity Model Research

China’s engineering supervision enterprises are at a critical transition, faced with fierce competition in the market.To improve the level of project management is critical for project supervision enterprises.As a new project management technique in foreign countries, project Management Maturity Model has great value. This paper attempts to apply the project management maturity model to engineering supervision enterprises, and construct engineering supervision Enterprise Project Management Maturity Model.Based on the theory of project management maturity model and the model which had already existed at home and abroad, this paper study the engineering supervision enterprise project management maturity model by incorporating project management features, current status and future trends of our engineering supervision enterprise, using the inductive deductive method, comparative analysis and modeling methods.Within this paper,the progresses made on the study of engineering supervision Enterprise Project Management Maturity Model mainly contain:(1)It defines the concept of the project management maturity model, the model’s basic theory and function,and summarize the domestic and foreign mainstream project management maturity model, it also demonstrates the feasibility and necessity of the engineering supervision enterprises to use the project management maturity model.(2)It discusses the project supervision enterprise project management’s connotation and analyzes the features of engineering supervision enterprises’project management(3)It builts the engineering supervision enterprise project management maturity concept model,which contains two systems,three dimensions and four elements, and then thoroughly analyzes the internal structure of the model’s category, dimensions and elements.(4)Taking the maturity rating and continuous improvement path design as the core, it builts the system for evaluating the engineering supervision enterprise project management maturity model. And then it determines the specific content of the elements, designs the maturity questions sheet, and clears the application steps of the proposed model.This study will help the development of theory of supervision enterprises in our country, meanwhile the study still needs further improved in practice.
