The paper studied the correlation between the main chemical compositions content and environmental factors (climate factor, soil factor), leaf split depth. The main results are as follows:(1)The determination of main chemical compositions content by HPLC and the establishment of the fingerprint.To establish the method for simultaneous determination of15kinds of chemical composition content including gallic acid.catechin,epicatechin,epicatechin gallate, sennidin B, sennidin A, sennidin C, aloeemodin, chrysophanol, emodin. physcion, rhein,emodin-8-O-β-D-glycosidase,chrysophanol-8-O-β-D-glycosidase, physcion-8-O-B-D-glycosidase.The developed HPLC assay is accurate and reliable;Optimization of Ultrasonic Extracton of the chemical compositions content Rheum officinale Baill.The establishment of the fingerprint:The chromatographic fingerprints were analyzed with similarity evaluation system for chromatographic fingerprint of TCM (2004A edition). And26common peak are noted, including the15kinds of chemical composition of this experimental study. Common peak relative retention time and relative peak area are calculated. The result showed that the RSD value of26common relative peak area of19population of Rheum officinale Baill.were very large. Showed that the same kind of chemical composition content in different regions are significantly differentThe sample chemical composition differentiation of Rheum officinale Baill.The population sample similarity between Yunnan xianggelila country and Hengduan mountains is low.The clustering results according to the chemical composition qualitatice showed that Yunnan xianggelila country get out from the Hengduan mountains.The sample similarity between Sichuan nanjiang country guanba and the three population of Hengduan mountains is high. The clustering results according to the chemical composition qualitatice showed that they were aggregated. So we infored that the population sample chemical composition of Yunnan xianggelila country habacun and Sichuan nanjiang country guanba have been differentiated. The similarity results showed that populain of Dalou mountain and the middle of Qinling mountains share a high similarity. So we infored that the population sample chemical composition of Dalou mountains and middle of Qinling mountains have not been differentiated.(2) Analysis the chemical composition content of19populationThe epicatechin content is0in Shaanxi Zhouzhi country Longdong gou and Shaanxi Taibai country Haitang gou. The epicatechin gallate content is0in Hubei province Shennongjia. Chemical composition content is significantly different in different population. The variation coefficients of4kinds of chemical composition contents were over80%.Total chemical composition content, total tannin content and total glycosides of anthraquinone content is most highest in Shannxi Pingli country Hualong mountain. The total content of free Anthraquinones is the most highest in Henan Neixiang country Funiu mountain. The sennidin A content is the most highest in Sichuan nanjiang country.The clustering results according to the chemical composition content showed that the three population of Hengduan mountains were aggregated;the six population of middle of Qinling mountains were aggregated. Dalou mountains populations were aggregated; the population of Shanxi pingli country hualong mountains and Hubei shennongjia were aggregated. So the samples chemical composition content of those population had little difference.According to the geographical region,19populaon of Rheum officinale Baill.can be divided into four big geographical areas. Chemical composition content trend can be divided into seven types. Comparing the four geographic area chemical composition content, we draw a conclusion that Daba mountain,Dalou mountain are suitable for collecting Rheum officinale Baill..Because the active constituent is more higher in those regions.(3) Correlation analysis between climate factor and chemical composition content of Rh. officinale Baill.The study is to use the Longitude and latitude and altitude as climate fator.The correlation analysis showed that7kinds of chemical composition content are correlated with the altitude.4kinds of chemical composition content are significantly correlated with the altitude;6kinds of chemical composition content are correlated with the longitude.and4of chemical composition content are significantly correlated with the longitude; Epicatechin gallate content was negatively correlated with the latitude. The altitude mainly influence the local temperature.The altitude is higher,the temperature is lower. The correlation analysis showed that sennoside B content and sennoside A content are positively correlated with altitude.So we speculate that low altitude is beneficial to the sennoside B, sennoside A content accumulation. Gallic acid.aloe-emodin.chrysophanol.physcion,chrysophanol-8-O-β-D-monoglucoside content are negatively correlated with the altitude. We speculate that high altitude is beneficial to those chemical composition content accumulation.To some degree, longitude could reflect the precipitation. In our country precipitation increase from west to east.We speculate that low precipitation is beneficial to the epicatechin gallate content accumulation and high precipitation is beneficial to the precipitation is beneficial to the epicatechin gallate content accumulation content accumulation.Only epicatechin gallate content was correlated with latitude.(4) Correlation analysis between soil factor and chemical composition content of Rh. officinale Baill.In the15kinds of chemical composition content.Sennoside B,Physcion-8-O-β-D-monoglucoside are significantly correlated with the soil fator.Analysis the trend of soil factor according to the population located region.The trend of soil factor can be divided in to four type.(5) Correlation analysis between leaf shape factor and chemical composition content.In the research leaf shape were correlated with chemical composition content. The content of physcion, chrysophanol, epicatechin gallate. chrysophanol-8-O-β-D-monoglucoside the total free anthraquinoneare content and total tannin content are higher in lighter Leaf lobes. The sennoside A content is higher in deep cracks leaf.Correlation analysis between leaf split depth and latitude, longtitude and altitude: the leaf split depth had significant correlation with latitude.
