In the clinic of Gynecology, Hypomenorrhea is very common. Though the treatises of successive dynasties about this disease are very detailed, but modern physicians are at variance. Tutor professor Huang Kejia has been engaged in gynecological scientific research, clinic and teaching for over thirty years, and has a deep understanding towards this disease, accumulating rich clinical experiences. From the older generations’treatises, She follows the concept of "the menstruation comes from the kidney", and simplifies the multiply with combining clinical practice, and she considers we should grasp the major contradiction in treating the disease, putting forward kidney vacuity is the basic reason of Hypomenorrhea, and liver qi depression and spleen-stomach vacuity also are the important factors of Hypomenorrhea. She combines patients’specific situations with variation, medicating nimble in clinical practice, and indentifies patterns and administer treatment according to different age stage of the patient and the changing law of the qi-blood, yin-yang in the kidney of the menstrual cycle. Her treatment not only lays particular emphasison, but also take care of the accompanying symptoms. Tutor also thinks we must not ignore links of psychotherapy and diet accommodation, so we can treat this disease in many ways and in many point of view. This therapy can make menstruation sourced, harmony of the thoroughfare and controlling vessels and uterus proper nourished.
