The greetings are the most frequent communication tool in people daily life. Allcountries have different greetings of their own. The greetings as the sign ofinterpersonal activities, would lead to miscommunication and communication failure ifthey were misused. With China’s comprehensive national power reinforced, anincreasing number of people which come from a growing number of the country liftedthe studying Chinese boom.This paper summarized and combs the researching of the greetings’ history andcurrent situation, based on the previous research results, adopt the method of readinglaw, investigation, correlation observation, and other means to confirm the meaning ofthe greetings and classification. Behind the analysis greeting reflect the culturalconnotation and using greetings communication strategy, in the meanwhile, this paperanalyzes the important position and the significance of greeting. From sociology,intercultural communication science, teaching Chinese as a foreign language. Thenative Russian teaching material was studied in this paper, classify sums up thegreeting appeared in the teaching material. Through the way of the questionnaireinvestigation, understanding the way Russian students use the Chinese greetings,summarizing the existing problems in using Chinese greeting, through the analysis ofthe problems, and points out that the solution for the problems.Finally, this paperdiscusses the greeting teaching methods in the foreign Chinese class, improves thestudents’ learning Chinese initiative, helps students to properly use Chinese greeting.
