Language teaching and culture teaching closely related. In the teaching Chinese as a second language, language and culture teaching is teaching the same significant. But in the concrete teaching, the cultural teaching often attaches actually in the language teaching, lacks the systematic characteristic, also is neglected frequently. How to develop Chinese culture in teaching and combine it with language teaching system is still the problem not to be ignored in the academic and practical instruction.This article is divided into six part. Firstly, on cultural factors in teaching Chinese as a second stage of definition, specific content and teaching, teaching of proportion, form, and so do the brief definition. The second chapter is to select the vocabulary teaching in the more typical idiom teaching as a starting point for research in this article, and describes the characteristics of it. Chapter Ⅲ, based on importance of idioms teaching, on the level of the Chinese vocabulary and idioms and vocabulary that appear in a hierarchical outline of Chinese character doing a quantitative and qualitative analysis, and teaching basic idioms, as well as issues related to the existing. Chapters IV and V appear in the actual teaching bias systematic analysis to summarize and give a certain settlement proposals. The sixth chapter basis field research experience, aims at the idiom teaching and the cultural element mutual union and the seepage with emphasis proposed the new teaching mentality, and has carried on the related teaching design, comes by this to the teaching Chinese as a foreign language Chinese-adapted factor qualitative, the quota and the localization question carries on the analysis and the summary. The main conclusions of this paper are:First of all, the relationship between language teaching and cultural teaching must be clear; Secondly, the current idiom teaching is often attached to the general vocabulary teaching, the teaching system is imperfect, and the combination of cultural factors were not evident; Finally, cultural factors in foreign language teaching in teaching remained at the position of the elements of culture, and qualitative, quantitative, as well as the issues are also needed to be further clear.
