| Xu Naichang,a famous poet in late Qing dynasty, making great achievements and influences on the politics and literary in China especially in the provinces of Jiangsu and Zhejiang. However, among the results of his research people mainly concentrated on his collecting and publishing. And as the whole, the research to the poetry of the period of the Republic of China is great weak and focus on the great outstanding poets. Therefore, the study of XuNaichang poetry has not been into the vision of researchers yet. XuNaichang has written a lot of works in his life and won a high reputation in the field of collecting at that time, especially on the inheritance of literature, he always has his own unique perspective. In literary creation, he communicates frequently with the famous poets and draws suggestions. This paper gives the priority to the study of his literary thoughts, creation of poetry body and the main poetries on the basis of his life、family background, friends, community activities. The further study of XuNaichang is not only helpful for showing the people’s real life in late Qing dynasty, but also helps to fully understand the late Qing dynasty poetry style, reveals the development of poetry, combs the track that change of poetry and poetry theory from former till late Qing dynasty.This paper has seven chapters. Chapters from first to fourth provide the investigation as the backdrop of XuNaichang’s life,family background, friends, works and creation of origination and process from predecessors’study, it is shown how his friends makes an impact on formation of his literature thoughts and creation. The investigation also tells the track of his creation and main characteristics. The chapters of fifth and sixth mainly analyze his poetry and creation. The seventh gives the further discussion to his poetry classification, main subject matter, poetry selecting standard so that analyze art value of MrXu on poetry selecting and make it clear that XuNaichang takes high position on it. |
