The Education Administration issues The Guiding Syllabus for Kindergarten Education, which establishes new standards and requirements for kindergarten teachers in many aspects. And the reform on kindergarten courses, such as music and art, will surely demand higher teacher qualities. Hence, a music curriculum reform of Pre-school Education is bound to happen. This paper focuses on the status quo of Pre-school Education’s music curriculum setting and conduction of X University, finding out the existing problems and reasons of them. Then some feasible solutions are tried to be proposed, aiming at increasing the attention to the teaching qualities of Pre-school Education. All those will make the music curriculum of Pre-school Education comply better with its unique features and thus it will serve the students and adjust to the teaching requirements of kindergarten education better.The first chapter includes the reasons for this argumentation, the literature review, the concepts and the research design.The second chapter discusses six aspects of the status quo of the Pre-school Education’s music curriculum setting, such as teacher condition, student condition, teaching situation, the course books, evaluation ways and teaching environment.The third chapter probes into the problems of music curriculum for Pre-school Education from the perspective of Chongqing X University.The fourth chapter put forward some feasible solutions such as editing the curriculum, enhancing teacher qualities and multidimensional ways of evaluation, etc.The author of this paper works in university and specializes in teaching and research of pre-school music teaching. As a well-known for the present situation, she conducted researches both in university and kindergarten and gets inspired. So this paper will be beneficial to the music instruction of the students who major in Pre-school Education.
