Gy rgy Ligeti(1923-2006), is one of the most influential composers in the20thcentury. His works get rid of the monopoly of serialism and other music genres, and putfouce on the innovation of sound materials itself. Most of his music run without atraditional melody, harmony and rhythm as the main means of expression of the work,but give way to a called "micro-polyphony" fine mesh weave musical texture.Gy rgy Ligeti’s <Streichquartett No.2> is the research object of this paper, becausein this work clearly reflects the basic characteristics of Ligeti’s1960s creation, which isbefore Ligeti’s a summary of the stages of creative experience, this work containsbasically all the style of Ligeti works, form a unique "Ligetic Style",including themicro-polyphonic textures of the <Atmosphère>, split structure in the second movementof <Cello Concerto>, mechanical metronome <Poème symphonique> mode, and thepractice of differential temperament. In addition, the genre of the string quartet has beena lot of composers as "testing ground" of the new technology, innovations in technicalexploration and musical language, so I selected this work to study, in order to clearlyshow Ligeti this period composer technology heritage and innovation.In this paper the main body is divided into four parts:Chapter I is the on Ligeti’s life, the creative features and the introduction of thesecond string quartet creation background;Chapter II is the pitch of the relationship between this work "micro-polyphonictextures", rhythm, acoustic characteristics of three aspects of the writing style of thisnew type of texture analysis;Chapter III described the sound practices and its significance of this work;Chapter IV, Ligeti writing in the creation of this work the reasons for the formationpractices detailed instructions.
