The Trend Of "Universal Value" Impact On Contemporary College Students And The Countermeasures

In recent years, the debate on the "universal value" to attract people’s attention. It should be noted, people discuss "universal values" not only reflect the "letting a hundred flowers blossom and a hundred schools of thought contend" thought, but also to promote the development of the theory, this is not unreasonable. However some people with the discussions lead the "universal value" to the level of political ideology, given the Western idea of democracy, freedom, fraternity and the basic system of universal significance, applies to all parts of the world, all times, all values, and other countries must be to imitate and observe. Essentially, it reflect the interests of the bourgeoisie demands, emotional needs and ideological aspirations, is a corrosive thought of interested in the propagation and landscaping of the Western core values and social system. This so-called "universal value" thought to have an adverse impact on college students, make their world view, outlook on life, values transmutation, have a negative impact to their growth and talent. This paper base on the debate on the meaning of "universal values", sum up the background, main contents and essence of the thought, comprehensively analysis the status and causes of the thought impact on the college students, on this basis, we put forward relevant countermeasures. The paper is subdivided into there parts:Part one:the generalization of "universal values" trend. This part mainly discusses the concept, background, content, and the research significance of "universal value" trend. First of all, summarized the different understanding of the meaning of "universal value", thus explain the perspective of this study, define the specific concepts. Second, profound analysis the international context and the domestic context of the "universal value" ideas thrown up in China, and summarized and explained the four main ideas of the thought of mutual contact, analysis of its political substance. Finally, interpretation the research significance of the trend of "universal value" impact on contemporary college students from the two dimensions of theory and practice.Part two:The current situation of the trend of "universal value" impact on contemporary college students. Mainly discusses from three aspects:Firstly, explain the research basic situation, pointed out the research object, method and content; Secondly, base on research situation, deeply analysis the specific effects of "universal value" trend impact on college students’political view, outlook on life and values; finally, analysis of main reason for negative influence of "universal value" impact on contemporary college students.Part three:Guide college students to correctly recognize and critique of "universal value" trend. Based on the above negative effects and cause analysis, we explores the related countermeasures from the ideological education, the education of situation and policy, the dialectical materialism education, strengthen the research on the thought of "universal values".
