Marx's Ecological Economy Era And Its Implication

Facing the ecological crisis and the ecological dilemma, on the one hand, scholars havesuggestions and ideas; on the other hand, they also pay attention to the thinking of forwardpeople to search for methods for ecological protection and economic development. In the processof exploration, the ecological economic thought of Marx has been paid more attention by thepeople widely. Through the analysis based on the social and historical roots, scholars explain therelationship between man and nature of Marx’s ideas, material change thinking, the basicconnotation of economic man, and restore the eco-economic thought of Marxism. No doubt,thiskind of interpretation has practical and theoretical value to China’s socialist modernization.In this paper, the specific research methods are: the literature method, the combination ofabstract and concrete methods and historical analysis. With the help of these methods, theinnovation points of this paper mainly are:(1) the contemporary implication of ecological andeconomic thought of Marx, that is, the internal correspondence of eco-economic thought of Marxwith ecological civilization construction and the scientific development concept.(2) according tothe theory of eco-economic thought of Marx, combined with understanding of ecologicaleconomy, the author making personal understanding.Besides the introduction this article is divided into four parts.The first part analyzes the historical background of the eco-economic thought of Marx,including the ecological damage caused by capitalist industrialization and by the capitalistsystem of production and consumption patterns.The second part describes the main content of the eco-economic thought of Marx. Firstlythe relationship between man and nature is analyzed, including nature-first to human society,human initiative activity on nature, the unity of man and nature. Secondly, the materialtransformation thought of Marx is exposed, including the origin of the material transformationtheory, the basic connotation of material transformation, the "crack" theory between human andnatural material transformation under the capitalist system, the fundamental way to compensatefor cracks. Finally, eco-economic man thought of Marx is analyzed, including origin ofeconomic man, the connotations of eco-economic man.The third part is the characteristics of eco-economic thought of Marx, including integrity ofthe ways of thingking, coordination of value dimension, openness of theoretical system.The fourth part is the contemporary implication of the eco-economic thought of Marx,including the relationship between eco-economic thought of Marx and ecological civilizationconstruction in China, the relationship between eco-economic thought of Marx and concept ofscientific development. Marxism will play a vital role in guiding socialist construction with Chinese characteristicscomprehensively, coordinatedly and sustainably with the help of interpretation and explanationto eco-economic thought of Marx.
