Chengdu Wu Houou "teenagers Space" Project Case Study

With the rapid economic and social development, problems during social transformation continue to appear, which have a far-reaching influence on the youth in particular. In April2007, the China Youth Palace Association and the Hong Kong Youth Association signed a cooperation agreement, which introduced "service" concept and effective mode of operation in the field of youth social work. Communities set up a "youth space" to provide diversity training service, such as growth counseling, learning assistance, careers and volunteer participation, would solve mainland youth’s problems and difficulties they encountered and help them grow up healthily. On the basis of investigation and research, author uses the theory of public administration to analyze and evaluate the operation status of "youth space" project. Author is making a further case study of Wuhou District Youth space by theoretical research, interview and questionnaire. Meanwhile, this article will improve and perfect the strategy of "youth space" operating mechanism by contrasting and learning other social education model for young people, and provide a basis and direction for further promotion of "youth space".This article probes into the development of’space project" from the following three aspects:1, how to realize the localization of "Youth Space" project during the process of learning Hong Kong model;2, As a new model of social education for the young people, how does the "youth space" lie on community-base, combine the family education and school education and fulfill the series demands of youth development?3, for ensuring "Youth Space" project welfare and long-term efficient operation, how should the public policies and operational mechanism be.
