The Study Of Problems And Countermeasures About Township Government Response In W County Sichuan Province

With the idea of political democracy extensive and intensive, the appeal of public participation in political activities is increasingly stronger and testing the government response. The theme of the primary government administration has been a goal to enhance the government response, which is based on political democracy and aimed at adapting to social development and serving the people. In recent years, the sudden mass incidents in China’s rural areas have occurred, and it has a close relationship with the lack of the township government response. Therefore, deriving from this background, it is an important issue to research the problem and countermeasure about township government response in this article.In this paper, the theoretical part mainly adopts literature research method and the comparative and comprehensive analysis, and the questionnaire and in-depth interviews are mainly used in the investigation. Judging from the research and investigation, the author holds that, the township government response is an interactive process that township government must response and meets the public problems and demands actively and timely. The elements of township government include following fourth:the main body of response, the object of response, the things of response, and the process of response. Township government response is objective demand of the transformation of the township government function, is an important guarantee for safeguarding social stability, therefore, it has the extremely important practical significance.There are some problems of government response in the township W county after our investigation:a lack of activeness about main response s ubjects, a lack of participations about response objects, a dislocation bet ween response concept and public demands, and a lack of timeliness, op enness, and interactive in the response process, a lack of efficiency about the response effect and so on. After analysis reasons which are marched on these problems, the author suggested some solutions to improve the g overnment response of township W:firstly, shaping right response idea a nd stimulating the unification of the township power to enhance activene ss about main response subjects; secondly, improving awareness of publi c participation and capacity and offering more measures to earn more pu blic participation; thirdly, response concepts origin from the public intere sts; fourthly, standardizing response procedures and establishing public i nformation platform to guarantee timeliness, openness, and interactive in the response process; finally, increasing investments and implementatio n of the response system to optimize response effect. All these suggestio ns are both specific and universal; what’s more, they are able to give cert ain reference value to other township governments.
