China is a marine country, it is one of the contracting states of united nationsmarine law convention. The mainland coastline is more than18000km and the islandcoastline is about142000km. China has more than6500islands and the sea are ofjurisdiction is about3million square kilometers. Since the founding of our country, it hasset up many department, such as the customs, maritime, border control, fishery andenvironmental protection. It adopt the dispersion industry management system. This kindof system played a positive role in the planned economy era. However, with the opening upof the reform and the development of China’s marine business, the marine’s management ismore and more difficulty. The dispersion management system are not able to adapt theneeds of China’s marine administrative management.In order to solve the problem, the paper analyze the marine administrativemanagement of America and Canada, and then get the enlightenment for our China. Thenintroduce the current situation of marine administrative management, find out the problemsand analyze the reasons. Due to the contradiction is growing, so the coordination issues aremore important. Therefore,to establish the comprehensive coordination of marineadministrative management has become an urgent demand.
