On Ways Of Low-carbon Economic Development In China Under The Marxist Concept Of Ecological Perspective

Global warming has become one of the most important problems faced by ourhuman. It affects our usual life and normal production activities, restricting thesustainable development of the economy and society. People now began to reflect theenvironmental destruction and serious pollution result from the traditional economicdevelopment model which featured with “high pollution, high energy consumptionand high emissions”. In this background, a low-carbon economic development modelcharacterized with “low power consumption, low pollution and low emissions” cameinto being. People are trying to find a balance between economic development andenvironmental protection. All the countries are now actively developing thelow-carbon economy, exploring the low-carbon economic development pathaccording to their own national conditions. The world has stepped into the era oflow-carbon economy. And it has also brought us lots of new developmentopportunities in China. Low-carbon economy has a deep theoretical foundation,among which the Marxism’s ecological concept is the most important one.Low-carbon economy tells us to look at the global warming reality under the guidanceof Marxist’s ecological theory concept and try to solve the problem, and at the sametime to find a sustainable economic development model that fit for China’s nationalconditions. Practice needs the guidance of the theory, it is necessary for us to return tothe Marxist concept of ecological theory in the study of low-carbon economicdevelopment in China, and it also reflects the Marxism theory’s character of” keepingpace with the times”. At the end of the article, it gives several paths directed by the ecologicalconcept of Marxism, which involve legal system, energy structure, industrial structure,technological innovation, production consumption, export structure and other aspects,to develop China’s low-carbon economy.
