In recent years, scholars of anthropology, political science, history andgeography and other disciplines are interested in a new field. Scholars are discussingabout: The relationship between the special group and the host country, the impact ofregional political structure, the path of development of this special group of indifferent countries and cultural changes comparative study of the minority,and theirsense of national identity in context of cross-border exchanges, etc.Among these, thestudy about their national identity is the most important content.In the past two years, education scholars have begun to get involved in thenational identity of students, however, Such studies are also still very few.Thecompulsory education school, as the special place which instills knowledge,skill andthe value idea into members of different social classes system instruction,to the place,play an important role in the shaping of national identity of border regions students.In this research,take Meng Lian county as a case, uses the method of literature,questionnaire, interview, text analysis to collection material, analyzes the nationalidentity situation of Yunnan Meng Lian county compulsory education stage students,draws the following conclusion:1. Both identity of minority and identity of Chinese nation of Meng Lian frontiercompulsory education stage student are quite strong.2. There is no contradiction between identity of minority and Chinese identity ofChinese nation, there is a positive correlation relationship.they has a remarkabledifference, the Chinese nation identity score must be higher than identity of minority.3.The identity of nationality of Meng Lian frontier compulsory education stagestudent has the following characteristic: identity of minority is consistent withanidentity of Chinese nation,imbalance (low period with high identity,low cognizewith high affect), identity of minority is syncretic and diversiform.4. National identity of Menglian border compulsory students is influenced bythe school curriculum, school language, community living environment factors. In this paper, we use theory of nationality identity to analyze the educationalfactors which maintains and impact the national identity and national identity ofstudents. discuss these factors of compulsory education,such as curriculum, teachersand other factors.Try to reveal the the important guiding role that concept ofmulti-cultural integration of education plays in the coordination of national ethnicidentity, national identity and cross-national identity,and the implementationapproach.
