The Research On The Current Construction Of Rural Community In China

The Sixth Plenary Session of its Sixteenth Central Committee of ChineseCommunist Party has considered and adopted the decisions on several major issues ofbuilding the socialist harmonious society, and has made a blueprint for building thesocialist harmonious society in the future. It places emphasis on the importance of thecoordinated development, strengthening the social construction, and pushing forwardthe constructions of Socialist New Countryside. The Report of the Seventeenth PartyCongress has also put forward new requirements to achieving the goal of establishinga well-being society in every sense, and made the strategic plans for making the urbanand rural communities into a living community with orderly management, perfectservice, and civilized and peaceful society. Building a socialist rural community is thehistorical task of the Party in the new era, and is also a major decision made by theCPC Central Committee in the perspective of the overall situation. It is the strategicinitiate not only benefited millions of farmers, but also sustained the stability of ourcountry. Therefore, it is an important mission that must be assumed in a critical periodof socialist modernization.In this paper, the construction of rural community in the new era is regarded asthe research object. This paper puts forward some strategies on further improving theconstruction of China’s rural communities on the basis of explaining the basic theoryof the construction of rural communities, summing up the experiences of theconstruction of rural community at home and abroad, and analyzing the practice ofrural community development, achievements and a number of problems. In thebackground of deepening of reform in rural society, it provides the valuable referencefor the definition on the role of government in the construction of rural community,the dominant position of farmers and the development of related systems.
