China’s Migrant Workers Social Security Question Research For The Present Stage

Nowadays, migrant workers’ social security is a key and hot issue in our society.Migrant workers make tremendous contributions to the modernization andindustrialization of cities. The labors not only stimulate the economic growth of thecities in which they are pouring, but also promote the economic development of thecountryside from which they come. However, their social position is very awkward incities. Although they are engaged in non-agricultural work, their identities of farmershave not changed at all. They have contributed too much to cities but are not acceptedby the cities. They are a mixture of all kinds of contradictions, who are at the edge ofthe industries, urban and rural areas and systems. But the special group’s security isvery prominent, there existing various problems, such as industrial injury, children’seducation, medical insurance, endowment insurance and so on. So some formidablechallenges with regard to migrant workers remain to be tackled. Therefore, theresearch of migrant workers’ social security is of great significance in theory andreality.This paper adopts the methods of historical materialism and dialecticalmaterialism unified, combining the methods of Literature Liquidate, ActualInvestigation, Case Analysis and other methods to analyze migrant workers’ socialsecurity circumstance carefully. The full text is divided into four parts.The first part introduces the concept of migrant workers’ social security, as wellas related concepts to make people understand migrant workers’ social security. Thesecond part mainly analyzes the significance of establishment and perfection of socialsecurity system for migrant workers. The analysis aims to let readers realize that suchsocial security system has good effects on the building of harmonious society, theestablishment of socialist market economy, the stability and development of oursociety. The third part is written about the present situation and the causes of migrantworkers’ social security, which is the central portion of the article. The fourth part, theauthor comes up with some suggestions and strategies to solve the problems aboutmigrant workers’ social security.
