The global warming has brought the serious consequences of rising temperatures, glacier melting collapse, rising sea levels, food production, so that people started a new thinking for carbon emissions. The concept of "low-carbon economy" was put forward in2009Global Climate Summit in Copenhagen. The new concept of "low-carbon buildings","low-carbon city","low-carbon society","low-carbon life", the new policy came into being. Many countries have started to take the low consumption, low pollution, low-emissions economic development and lifestyle. Our party and the government has formulated a series of low-carbon development initiatives focus on energy saving.Our country has always respected the ideological and moral construction of the juvenile. To juvenile publicize the party’s line, principles and policies, and foster the juvenile the right outlook on life and values. Ideological and moral education bears an important role to enhance the ideological consciousness of the juvenile. Ideological and moral education contents are not static, it reflect the characteristics of the era. Conduct low-carbon education to juvenile that it is closely combined with low-carbon characteristics of the times, creative carrying out ideological and moral education of juvenile. Juvenile are good at thinking, willing to accept new things. To guide juvenile from childhood have established the concept of low-carbon life, the idea of energy saving and pollution reduction, is to make them profound understand the importance of the love nature, protecting the Earth, is to make them aware of responsibilities and obligations to protect the environment. Only by them to build awareness of conservation nature responsibilities and obligations from the heart, they can take the initiative to conserve resources, reduce pollution, and practice low-carbon life. Low-carbon education is needs of the times, also is the juvenile ideological and moral education needs of content creation it is essential that ideological and moral education train up juvenile awareness of low carbon, the concept of low carbon and low-carbon behavior. Low-carbon education has an important position and role in the juvenile ideological and moral education.This thesis mainly takes the low-carbon education as the starting point, in order to study low carbon education in juvenile ideological and moral education existing the problems, and proposes some suggestions to supplement for low-carbon education. This paper includes four parts. The first part is the introduction. It proposes the problems, the significance, the literature reviews, the research contents and innovation points, thoughts and methods. In the second part, the juvenile ideological and moral education and low-carbon education are summarized. First of all, the juvenile ideological and moral education and low-carbon education are reviewed; then, it is introduced that theory basis of juvenile ideological and moral education and low-carbon education; finally it is significance that juvenile ideological and moral education and low-carbon education is explored. The third part is that analyze the current situations and reasons of questionnaires. Through the500questionnaires sampling survey in seven schools in Hubei province, from the data analyze the current situations, ask questions, and find out reasons. The fourth part is based on the investigation, statistics and analysis, which searches for countermeasures of juvenile ideological and moral education, and low-carbon education.
