Children are the future builders and successors of the cause of socialism with Chinese characteristics, their ideological and moral quality are the key to the success of the cause of the party and the state. Some opinions of The CPC Central Committee and State Council on further strengthening and improving the ideological and moral construction of minors points out that we should fully realize the importance and urgency of strengthening and improving the ideological and moral construction of minors. On the other hand,we should strengthen the weak links and take solid measures to create a new situation of the minors’ ideological and moral construction work based on consolidating the achievements to adapt to the new situation and actively respond to challenges. Therefore, the problem of the ideological and moral education of minors is a major issue that we must attach great importance to and further study.The appearance of some related social problems make us reflect the validity of the ideological and moral education at the turn of the century. Respond to the important theories and realistic problems that social real life put forward consciously, strengthen the improvement and innovation of Ideological and moral education and enhance the effectiveness of Ideological and moral education are the major issues to the development of ideological and moral education.We can make judgment on the effectiveness of the ideological and moral education according to the thoughts and behaviors of educational objects in daily life and production, it also can be judged by the thought and behavior orientation of educational objects at some critical moments, in some unexpected events or when they are responding to or dealing with all kinds of ideas. This study focused on childhood which is critical to the formation of morality. The latter is more focused and distinct to determine the effectiveness of Ideological and moral education compared with the former. Specifically, In the ideological and moral education of children, Firstly, we should take the special nature of the psychological development of children into account and understand which development stage of moral development are children in. Then we should determine the contents and methods of the moral education of children to encourage them to a higher stage.This paper adopts literature method, interview method and questionnaire method to analysis, survey and explore the influence factors of the moral development of children on the basis of previous studies. Combining with the psychological characteristics of children and the moral development critical period theory of children. This paper analysis the countermeasures to improve the effectiveness of the ideological and moral education on the base of the actual moral education activities’ order from the perspective of the internal structure and operation process of ideological and moral education.
