With the change and development of time and way of living, the structure ofhousehold has been changed increasingly. Empty-Nest Elderly has become a newsignificant phenomena made by One-Child Policy and population aging. Although,the Social Insurance Reform can relive the pressure of population aging, but it is surethat Social Insurance Reform cannot settle the Problems of Empty-Nest Elderly.Hence, Problems of Empty-Nest Elderly are not only problems of economy but alsocomprehensive problems involving psychology and real life. However, Governmentdoes not pay due attention to Mentality Problems of Empty-Nest Elderly, which issolved mainly by volunteers and NGO (non-governmental organization) that kind ofrelive the pressure but cannot settled the problems thoroughly.Therefore, it is imperative to survey the Empty-Nest Elderly, to analyze the mainproblems and then to provide measures. Taking Mingzhu Community as example, thispaper analyzed the problems and then provided relative measures by using survey andthe method of qualitative and quantitative.This paper is divided into Six Chapters:First Chapter:“Presentation”, which introduced the goal, significance, status ofstudy abroad&domestic, study method and main content.Second Chapter:“Definition”, which defined relating concepts of Empty-NestElderly.Third Chapter: Introduced the situation and characters of Problems of theEmpty-Nest Elderly, and then analyzed the factor of Mentality Problems of theEmpty-Nest Elderly.Fourth Chapter:“Problems analysis”, which analyzed and summarized theMentality Problems of the Empty-Nest Elderly.Fifth Chapter:“Countermeasure”, which provided countermeasure based on the former analysis.Six Chapter:“Conclusions”, which stated the conclusions, finally look forwardto the future.
