In the process of unceasing rise, China continue to enhance regional and international influence, due to geopolitical factors, the domestic and foreign policies in the South Asian region will have more or less influence on China. Since the "9·11" incident, in the face of South Asia rapidly changing international political environment, as Asia’s largest neighbor, China need to develop their own diplomatic strategy according to the change of South Asia, which can help us to grasp the state interests in the region guide and establish national diplomacy policy.As Asia’s largest neighbor, India-Pakistan relations will have the first influence to China,India-Pakistan relation is the major factor affecting the safety of China’s southwestern border stability.China should make India and Pakistan to ensure that major events in the area will not affect regional through communication and consultation in the area, this is Chinese interest in the area.To maintain peace and stability in South Asia, to maintain the stability of the friendly relations between China and South Asian countries, will do good to China’s interests.South Asia is located in southern Asia, north and south between India ocean and the Himalaya Range, the west is the sea of Arabia, east is the bay of Bengal, South Asia the west, north and east is the huge mountains, while the southern part is facing the vast expanse of the India ocean. India ocean is as a strategic channel energy, since the beginning of this century, it has become the world wrestling venue, the subcontinent of South Asia geo-strategic meaning more prominent.As China’s economy continues to accelerate, Chinese demand for marine resources is more and more big, the ocean as the importance of material transport channel is also more obvious, because of its unique geographical location, India ocean is more and more big concern, and become the area and countries to compete for the omitted.India ocean is the transportation hub connecting the Atlantic and Pacific oceans, countries around the Persian Gulf is the world’s leading oil producing countries, the country’s energy exchanges mostly finished by India ocean. India ocean geographical position determined that it will have an important impact on China, China is in the rising process, not only need to strengthen economic and trade exchanges with all countries in the world, China’s demand for energy is also growing, both of which needs to be transported by sea, India ocean is China’s important for marine transportation.On India ocean issues, China should be actively carry out cooperation with Pakistan.Pakistan’s geographical location determines it in India ocean and China has great room for cooperation between China and Pakistan, and has carried out a number of cooperation, such as helping build ports. In the future, China should increase with Pakistan port and India ocean in the aspect of affairs on the cooperation, the strength of penetration through Pakistan to India ocean has important practical significance and strategic value.After "9.11" incident, the political environment in South Asia is changing rapidly, the most obvious feature is that the United States want to strengthen the control of the region, the United States strengthen the cooperation with South Asian countries for combating terrorism. In the long run,America’s influence in this region will form a challenge to Chinese interests in South Asia, in response to this situation, China changes to the South Asian policy based on the strategic situation. China will continue to strengthen relations between India and South Asian countries, and to combat terrorism, prevent the proliferation of terrorism, maintaining the stability of the region.In the stage of the strategic implementation, although China and India have contradictions and frictions, but caused no serious impact on bilateral relations between China and India. In recent years,China increase trade,and deepen cooperation, and have establish stable development in favor of Sino-Indian relations.China and Pakistan relations are developing well, the sides in the political, military and other aspects of mutual trust is increasing, stable and deepen China-Pakistan friendship plays an important role in safeguarding China’s strategic interests in South Asia. Between China and other South Asian countries intercourse increase gradually, it also has contribution to expand China’s influence in South Asia.China’s future strategy in South Asia is the need to pay attention to the external forces, China should continue to strengthen relations with India and the South Asian countries, safeguard its national interests in South Asia.
