Research On The Culture Change Of Migrants

Cultural change is one of the main topics of culture anthropology. The change is a constant of the culture, and the change is perpetuating phenomenon of all culture. The essential form of cultural change is acculturation. According to acculturation vary, culture change’s influences are different. Immigrant culture that have different performance in different regions and different nations is a cultural phenomenon in human social life.This paper regards Jin Yin Tan immigrants as the object of study.Jin Yin Tan immigrants who migrate to Hefei, AnHui Province, finishes a case study in the phenomenon of the existence of cultural contact and cultural adaptation. According to the literature collection,the depth interview and participated in fieldwork. The author who has used this way to collect a large number of the first material. And the author analyses the picture of immigrant culture.Since the early1990s, under the support of national policy, Jin Yin Tan implemented a large-scale migration project. They made those immigrants could the best life. This paper based on previous studies, which absorb and learn from the current related to theoretical results. And the paper discusses the cultural change and acculturation of immigrants.This paper consist of four chapters.The first chapter is introductory theory. This part discusses the whole background of the paper, and discusses research significance of the paper, and explains study methods, related concepts.The second chapter discusses the background of the immigration. It summaries natural environment of Jin Yin Tan and Hefei. In addition, the chapter discusses related question about origin of immigrants and migration reasons.The chapter from third to fourth are the main body of this paper. The third chapter is ethnographic as the method. It analyses language, living standards and cultural composition about immigrants in the area the relocation of before and after. And it explores the migrants to the immigration of the main effection in the urge of life. The fourth chapter analyses migrants’ cultural change. At last Jin Yin Tan immigrants who have the migration of twice have blended in this group of Hefei. For Jin Yin Tan immigrants, immigrants face this change, this change are that the natural environment has changed and human environment has changed. So immigrants must do some adaptation. In cultural adaptation, immigrants’ culture happens cultural change. This cultural adaptation includes the surface changes and further to stick. The former includes clothing changes, language changes, change in diet, life-style changes. The latter is traditional habits, such as opera.Finally, this paper summarizes characters and rends of immigrants’ cultural change. And it explores the relationship between cultural adaptation and immigration.The study of the immigrants in this paper is just a primary try in the immigrants’ cultural change. It can say that the paper is the urge of research. In the further research, I will work hard and will make contribution to research career.
