Class operation has a profound impact on the development of students. The problems of classroom management of secondary vocational school directly affect the quality of its graduates. Class management is influenced by the teachers and students’ education concept.The author finds the facts that classic intelligence concept has some limitations by following the principle of combining theory and practice, methods of literature review, combing and research the results of the influence of teachers intelligence on class management and the author’s reflection and practices on class management. The limitations are:it narrows the range of students’intelligence, limiting students’ intelligence to rational intelligence scope. So it cannot wholly explain the real activities of students and it limits students’intelligence to a scope that cannot be achieved by education. Using classic intelligence concept to manage class has five disadvantages:emphasizing behavior constraints but neglecting class construction; emphasizing discipline of class but neglecting individual care; emphasizing teachers’ assessment but neglecting students’self-assessment; emphasizing cognitive development but neglecting the change of attitude; emphasizing results but neglecting process of activities. Multi-intelligence concept goes beyond classic intelligence concept. It has five implications in education:discovery individual’s potential strengths and believe each student can succeed; advocate multi-activity patterns of intelligence and variety of study methods; propose multi-intelligence to expand the scope of education activities; address individual differences and challenge the traditional system of class teaching; adopt qualitative evaluation methods and question the traditional methods of students evaluation. Using multi-intelligence concept to guide class management of secondary vocational school can bring about positive changes in class management. It is mainly reflected on:it provides various activities to students and students can choose the activities appropriate to themselves; it makes class management have many forms and provides an institutional guarantee for students’learning; it emphasizes students’emotional development, inspiring students to participate in class activities; it adapts to individual differences of students and their multi-intelligence and develop students’multi-evaluation; it focuses on the evaluation of students’behavior and the unity of the results. By using questionnaires and group interviews to prove the problems existing in class management of** Secondary Vocational School. The questionnaire includes teachers’and students’. The questionnaire for head-teachers includes:students’ concept, class activities, students’self-assessment, and methods of management. The questionnaire for students includes:basic conditions, self-identity and positive attitude. The results of the questionnaires shows:teachers lack an optimistic view of students concept; class activities is single and lacking selectivity; management of class activities and its system; low level of students’participation in class activities; assessment of students is unified; implement intellectual evaluation.By using action research methods and guided by multi-intelligence concept, the author adopts the following strategies to solve the problems of class management in Tianjin ** Secondary Vocational School:teachers establish a positive outlook on students; organize a variety of class and social activities; establish and implement democratic management system; construct multiple indicators system of students evaluation. It proves that under certain condition these strategies are effective to improve class management in secondary vocational school.Under the guidance of multi-intelligence concept, walking into the lives of vocational school students and their spiritual world and understanding each student and taking practical measures can a head-teacher construct his/her class successfully and let every student succeed.
