As with the strong development on economy,the demand on highly-skilled workforce for the society is much higher now.Secondary occupation education has thus attracted more attention in the national education system.However,there are problems existing among these students studying in vocational colleges,which may impact on the national infrastructure and the development of the society.Classes are the main component of schools,class room management places a key role on school development.Classes are the fundamental element of teaching,the quality of class management has direct impact on students learning and development,school education system,as well as teaching and studying quality.It also directly reflects the class teacher ability.Vocational colleges can only approach more effective class teaching activities and higher teaching quality by adopting efficient class management,which therefore make them more competitive.This research adopts systematic observation and interviews as research methods,data was collected from three secondary occupation education schools based at Dalian.Methodologies including questionnaires to class teachers,teachers,students,as well as researcher's own experience which results are analyzed from.Findings presents key problems on class management: student leaders did not act as role models;the daily class management is not efficient enough,behaviors such as late for class,absence and lack of performance are often happened in classes;culture isn't established well to enable variable activities in the class;students don't have enough safety awareness;moral education need to be approved;class manner style wasn't established,motivation of studying wasn't empowered.From the discussion on these problems existing in these three cases,the author suggests solutions for improvement,which include improve student leader selection process,build up and implement class discipline,establish class culture,educate students on safely awareness,improve the support on moral and psychology health,and establish class manner style.
