This paper researches tennis tossing arm running track and effects of Liaoning athletes in five links ,by using of literature data method, observational method, three-dimensional camera method, video analytic method and mathematical statistic method. Then it discusses the effects of tossing arm running track in training and teaching, and gives some useful references for the improvement of serving technique in tennis. The results are following.1. Tossing arm has two kinds of running tracks, such as arm bent and back swing. The running track of arm bent has small radian near to vertical, and tossing relatively stable. By the end of tossing, the arm bent is in favor of stomach curl. The running track of back swing has big radian, and tossing relatively unstable.2. The height of tossing arm account for 98 percents of stature. Horizontal angles and tossing time and height were positively correlated. Reasonable tossing arm running track has grest effects of tossing stability and hitting success rate.3. The wrist joints of tossing arm have great activity, which can cause spinning in tossing and influence the ball control. The back movement of tossing arm can increase the amplitude of hip joint movement. And it is beneficial to gaining strength before hitting, which can increase forward and upward hitting power.4. The running tracks of tossing arm have no differences under two racket guiding activities. Racket guiding after tossing is beneficial to consistency of action, and it can reduce transition preparation time. It will spend more time when racket guiding appears with tossing at same time. And long transition preparation time is not beneficial to rhythm of serve.5. The maximum angular velocity of each joint of tossing arm appears in back scratching action, and it can help the auxiliary hold pat arm to swing forced as well increase the speed of service. In service, crossover change of two shoulders’angle is good for the stability of movement rhythm and the balance of the upper body. Fully extended and fast pushing of each joint can make coherence and smooth send force in each stage of service.6. The radian of arm bent running track is small, but back swing is big, and it is bad for stability of tossing. Tossing arm of arm bent is closer to abdomen which is good for pressing in sever. But tossing arm of back swing is far away from abdomen, and bigger swing can cause excessive turn, go against the next step in bat.
