Practice is the basic way of human survival and development. Through thepractice,people not only has changed the physical world, but also reformed their ownsubjective and acquired new ideas, knowledge, theory and so on. As the Collegestudents are in the period of maturation of life and the social acceleration, payingmuch importance to increase the opportunity of practice will be beneficial to them notonly to acquire knowledge but also form the quality of the good ideological moralityand personality. Learning from the practice is the only way for college students’development. But the current situation of the education through practice is notdesirable. On the one hand, the college education has not fulfilled the role of practicein helping students to acquire knowledge and develop abilities and in promoting thefunction of developing college students’ good character. The effect of practiceeducation is not desirable. This paper discusses the effects of practice on CollegeStudents’ good character formation from the perspective of moral education inColleges. This paper expounds the connotation of cultivation of people throughpractice and reveals its positive role on the students’ development usingmultidiscipline like the philosophy, pedagogy, psychology and sociology. This lay asolid theoretical foundation of practice education. On the basis of this, this paper alsodiscusses the functions of the effects of moral education through practice, for example,it is conducive to improve College Students’ Ideological and political quality, toimprove university students’ Moral Cultivation, to promote physical and mental healthof College Students, to Accelerate the socialization of University Students, tocultivate college students’ innovative consciousness and character. The article thenanalyzes the current situation of practice education and points out the problem andanalyses the roots of the problems. Finally, it gives its parts on the thinking of thestrategy of the college’s moral education through practice, puts forward fiveprinciples, like targetness, systemness, openness, subjectivity, and the principles oflinking theory with practice, and points out the measures of perfecting moraleducation system, mobilized family education tape the potential resources throughsocial education.
