The research is promoted by the calling for the New Curriculum Reformand based on music teaching practice in the first middle schools. Musicappreciation course, an obligatory course for middle school students, isimportant for it is he1pful in training students’ ability to understanding beauty.With the situation of quality education, the most important task for musicteaching is how to stimulate students to love music in junior middle school, tolure students into music life, and get a hobby and interests in music. Thestudents will get more chance to touch music through enjoying music, widentheir fields of vision, in order to train them to gain a healthy feeling of thebeautiful, raise their aesthetic standards, and improve them all aspectsharmoniously. Enjoying music is not only showed in class, but also showed inteaching music and music theory, it exists anywhere in music teaching.This paper aims at the status that shows high school students’ singlemusic hobby and lower music percipient, it analyse the reasons those affectstudents’ music percipient and the mistake of music education viaquestionnaire. It proposed that the educator should set up the brand-neweducation idea, locate accurately, begin with class teaching practice, and baseon the theory of pedagogy and music psychology. According to high schoolstudents’ age characteristic and knowledge structure, it explores flexible andeffective teaching method, developments teaching material content, and find aeffective way to improve students’ music percipient in consummatingstudents’ music apperceiving ability, understanding ability and percipientingability. The article discuss the experiencing teaching method which cultivatesstudents’ interest of music, the comparative teaching method which leadsstudents to analyse music sanely step by step, and the commentarial teachingmethod which make students anlayse the music independently by using theirmusic percipient. These gradual course improve students’ music percipientand knowledge. They appreciated music from humanities angle associating with their music study. It found a effective way to enhance high schoolstudents’ music connoisseurship.
