The rapid development of information technology, making our study and life into the information and knowledge age, information literacy as the foundation for survival and development in the information age, whether for individual or for the entire country has a very important significance. IT teachers as the main practitioners of information literacy education, professional development of them is very important, however, the traditional way for teachers professional development not well supported IT teachers development, they need more ways to explore. In recent years, learning community as one of the effective ways for teachers’professional development, has been widespread concern of scholars. Especially with the development of network, online learning community for its ease of communication, resource sharing, emotional support and other advantages to support communication and resource sharing between teachers. This paper will focus on learning community of secondary school information technology teachers, start from promoting theirs information exchange, knowledge sharing, and resources building and sharing, on the basis of the actual research, building-based social software secondary school IT teacher learning community model, and design appropriate activities to guide the development of the community, then develop the appropriate platform to support the activities of the learning community of teachers. In this online learning community,through teacher’s personal reflection, peer support, the collective explore and ultimately to promote their professional growth.This paper contains seven parts.The first chapter:introduce background of this paper, research purposes, significances and used methods.The second chapter:analysis related concepts involved in the paper and introduce current researches at home and abroad.The third chapter:make a questionnaire survey to learn about the current development status of secondary school IT teachers and theirs actual demand, then make data statistics and analysis.The fourth chapter:under the guidance of theoretical basis in front, build the theory models and put forward the strategies in detail.The fifth chapter:build the support platform, which contains personal and community learning space, design the modules of this platforms, on this basis, the corresponding module has been developed and realized.The sixth chapter:this chapter is the application of platform, by inviting part of information technology teachers in secondary school in the platform activities, verify platform support for community activities. The last chapter:a comprehensive summary, noting insufficient points and prospects for the next research.
