The 21st century is network-based, digital, information-age. The rapid development of information technology to change people's conception of education and learning styles, teaching computer network in the application are attracting increasing attention. As the state of higher education investment in the development of information technology, colleges and universities are basically building a campus network, college students learning to become rich and varied. However, due to various reasons, not every one teacher for each course has a corresponding support quality courses and learning platform, the authors proceed from the actual situation based on open source software by learning content management system to build a network of university students at school Learning Community it is very meaningful and feasible. This will not only solve the university teachers and college students studying encountered by the network platform and the lack of resources puzzles, but also through the promotion of a Network Learning Community between teachers and students teaching and learning. It can be said that, based on open source software learning content management system built on a network of undergraduates studying Community is viable and meaningful.Firstly, the author orders the Community, the community and the concept of social, and differentiates the related concept of Learning Community, then defines the concept of the Network Learning Community. From the theory of social constructivism, the situation cognitive theory, group dynamic theory, education communication theory and distributed cognitive outlined in the search for the theoretical basis for the Learning Community. Then the features and functions of the Learning Community from the study, in-depth study of the Community of the network elements and their internal relations, and in this building based on Network Learning Community model. Secondly, the author of the study using open-source software content management system for college students in this group to design network Learning Community, and elaborated on Network Learning Community formative stage, learning pattern and interactive manner. Lastly, Atutor as an example to the author as a Network Learning Community network learning platform focused on the description of the module and it's Atutor Network Learning Community in the role, and Shaanxi Normal University School of Journalism and Communication Technology Education 05 undergraduates and 07 as part of post-graduate study, the month-long practice and exploration. Than by the questionnaire, the author carried through the effect of this event to a preliminary data analysis and validation. The model considers the network Learning Community in all tangible and intangible elements, and Learning Community Construction and the process of teaching and learning of the combined.I believe that in higher education based on open source software in the construction of learning content management system for the Community Learning Network is a viable and meaningful. It is regrettable that this practice should be explored part of a semester to conduct experiments for the cycle, and because of the time only to rush for more than a month.Although this study also showed a certain degree of results, but there are still a lot of shortcomings, it also provided a follow-up study for reference and reference, and become the focus of the study after further.
