Teachers’self-evaluation on teaching in classroom is a form of evaluation which focus on the teachers’profession of teaching, and is some kind of estimation of their own based on certain measurements and standard, including whether the choice of teaching method and knowledge is appropriate, and the teaching effect, etc. Self-evaluation is an important form of teachers’evaluation as well as a profitable supplement of traditional evaluation which is judged by others. Besides, it is the main reform orientation of the national basic education curriculum, with the purpose of improving teaching and teachers’professional development through their self-evaluation and self-reflect. However, there exists some problems when put it into practice, including objective ones such as the evaluation system and the subjective ones such as teachers’cognition and the apply of self-evaluation. Analyzing the problems, we probe into the profound reasons why these problems come about, and then put forward corresponding suggestions and strategies which may solve these problems.Following the main idea above, the paper is formed with five parts as below:The first part illustrates the background and purpose of the research of teachers’self-evaluation, in order to know the current status and the development of the research, to understand the meanings theoretically and practically, to comprehend the corresponding concepts and definitions, making a solid foundation of the following research.The second part analyses a survey about the teachers’self-evaluation about teaching in primary school. The survey begins with the illustration of the questionnaire’s design, and then get acquisitions of the teachers’self-evaluation about teaching, including the system construction, the outer support of the practice, teachers’recognition to self-evaluation, and the implement in different link of evaluation, etc. With the analysis of the different part of teachers’self-evaluation, the problems can be initially shown. The third part make a deep probe in the problems shown in the survey. According to the problems seems superficial, to announce the profound problems covered.The fourth part analyses the reason why the problems form. The paper discusses the problems separately from society, school, and the teachers themselves, and illustrate the influences effected by the three different parts that mentioned.The five parts put forward the suggestions and strategies about how to solve the problems and improve the teachers’self-evaluation about teaching.The paper chooses one zone in a secondary city as a sample, trying to get acquisition of the problems form in the recognition and practice of the teachers’self-evaluation about teaching. Therefore, based on the acquisition, the paper discusses the problems in the teachers’evaluation, make a deep consideration of the reason that causes the problems, and comes up with some strategies an suggestions which may solve the problems.
