Love left-behind children, pay attention to the physical and mental health of left-behind children growing, a sports on "people-oriented" interpretation, but also of the deepest human human concern.In recent years, with the rapid development of reform and opening up, the vast rural labors, for urbanization and economic development to make an ever-lasting contribution. However, their children have become an special vulnerable groups-left-behind children. Left-behind children is refers to the\"one party or both parents working out half year and above, and was left in the census register seat by my grandparents or other relatives or friends, can’t look after monitoring with both parents live together, age in the6-16years old children\". Psychological problems stay-at-home children in rural areas is the most concern, loss of family ties because lead to psychological problems, social obstacle, communication difficult or even criminal, experts say\"left-behind children\" the serious problem may endanger the future. Improving the rural left-behind children health of body and mind, the new rural construction of a problem to be solved, and the people’s livelihood is the happiness is worth to pay close attention to a part, also be implement sports public service system unshirkable responsibility.We investigate and survey the physical and mental problems of the western rural left-behind children through research methods such as field research, mathematical statistics and so on. The results show that the average BMI index of the rural left-behind children is15.5; one side of grandparents and parents are their main minders and a quarter of the rural left-behind children have good characteristic with sports life style;60%of rural left-behind children exist psychological problems. Statistic analysis shows that rural left-behind child’s sport life style is closely related to mental health. Left-behind children who have sport life style are easier to make friends than those who don’t have sport life style. They can more actively adapt to the society and have more positive sense of happiness. Their mood disorders and psychological troubles also less than those who don’t have sport life style. The lack of professional sport teachers, the shortage of location equipment and the lag of sport activities’environment are the main cause to restrict the development of rural left-behind children sport life style. Accordingly, we propose "1+5" mode for the sustainable development of the physical and psychological health of western rural left-behind children which regard sport life style as the core, the left-behind child as the main part, the government as the leading factor, the school as the main position, the society as the supporter and the family as the side of cooperation.
